On Wednesday (12th Oct, 2005), several newspapers carried a story about the demolition of some farm houses in the Aravali hills area.

So, is it safe to invest in Ansal's Aravali Retreat.

  • Are these approved farmlands.
  • Can construction of a farm house be done if the farm is atleast 2 acres?
  • What is the current rate?
  • Will there be a good appreciation in this area?

nothing is clear about the farms here.boundry walls/huts/tube wells all have no legal sangtity.

Were these demolished farm houses in Ansal's Aravali Retreat or in some other Ansal's development.  Aravali Retreat has water and electricity connections.

In fact, I have clarified with Ansal's.  Aravali retreat was approved in 1990, much before the 1992 notification.  Also, the conservator of forests in Gurgaon sanctioned it.

You are mistaken, even farmhouses of  ANSALS were demolished. Go and see for yourself. Now ANSALS has gone to court along with many other farmhouse owners. I am one of the victim.
There are many problems with these farmhouses. There is no water and electricity. It becomes frustrating to spend a weekend there.  I am not in favor of these lousy farmhouses.
