Where Can I Find A Good Gurgaon Map On The Internet?

By Unregistered Visitors, Section Gurgaon in Cyberspace
Posted on Wed Feb 02, 2005 at 02:32:43 AM EST

I am residing in Gurgaon for over a year and have been searching for a good map of Gurgaon on the net giving marking various sectors, roads, commercial buidings, etc. but have not located any site so far.

Does anyone know the site from where a decent map can be downloaded.

This site also can have a map of gurgaon link.

Thanks

MapmyIndia offers Great Detailed Maps for Gurgaon (none / 0) (#14)

If you want to see your house on a map (the street actually), visit MapmyIndia (http://www.mapmyindia.com)

This is an Indian company's initiative at creating an internet map site that will come up and do as much as Google and Mapquest has done. We're also adding an Indian twist to the things we do. Check out this concept called 'eLocation' MapmyIndia has introduced.

eLocation allows you to get maps and directions to a peron's place, and the cool thing is that it gives you the directions in the words of that person (take a left after you see a panwallah, go inside that gate...u know, how people explain directions in India).

Search for this sample elocation and you'll see what I mean. The id is: mapmyindia

Looking forward to your comments on the blog or through mail (my email address is: cswebmedia@mapmyindia.com)

Thanks and hope you can enjoy India in much much more detail =)

Use Google Earth (none / 0) (#9)
by Unregistered Visitors on Fri Jan 13, 2006 at 11:43:29 PM EST

Hi Anurag,

Use Google earth, instead of a map.The resolution of satellite images in Delhi - Gurgaon are very high and with a little bit of luck you will be able to identify your own balcony !!!
You need to download the installer from Google website. Then install in on your computer ... click on the google community icon, lots of placemarks are already there, placed by community members, so you will have no problem identifying places. You can also calculate distances etc. It is a very nice tool.
For google earth to work properly, you need a decent broadband connection.

Dear Anurag,
An excellent site for maps is www.mapsofindia.com. I also need maps for my profession and whenever I need one, I log onto the site and check it out. They have maps of all Indian cities and on various other themes too.
Hopefully, this will be of help to you.

The site www.mapmyindia.com doesn't seem to work. Is there another site with a detailed map of Gurgaon?
