HUDA Planning Go-kart Track In Sector 29, Gurgaon; One Track Already Exists At 32nd Milestone

Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) is coming up with a dedicated go-karting track in the heart of the city. ‘‘Our track is located in Sector 29, next to HUDA’s Gymkhana Club.
Interestingly, the entire go-karting idea happened to HUDA by chance.‘‘It was initially developed by a private company for holding a go-karting championship sometime back. Since the track laid out by them was still there, we thought why not put it to use and generate revenue,’’ said Verma. ‘‘Most importantly, the place will be properly maintained,’’ he added.
- HUDA hopes to earn Rs 1 lakh per month from the track.
- Following a bidding procedure, the 2.3 acre site will be leased out for two years,’’ said HUDA’s Administrator Prem Verma.
This will be Gurgaon’s second go-karting track, the first is located at 32nd Milestones Resort on NH 8.
