Gurgaon: In what can be called an ultimatum to the Haryana government, the residents of DLF City has asked to solve their problems by September 30 or face the consequences.
DLF City RWA and People’s Action met on Sunday to demand a planning board to resolve various problems including broken roads, overflowing sewers and power crisis, before September 30.
‘‘We are asking the government to establish a planning board with immediate effect. Not next year, not next month. Now. By September 30, if they don’t agree to do so, we will block entry to Gurgaon for all outsiders from both sides — MG Road border and NH-8,’’ say RWA members.
The members said they had to take a firm stand as the situation is going from bad to worse. ‘‘The power situation in Gurgaon is bad again. Water supply is no better and traffic management is not up to the mark,’’ they add.
