Recently I shifted from Gurgaon to Hyderabad and I am still trying to remember the moment when I opted for Central Cargo Packers and Movers.
For all the people who will be shifting stuff from one place to other, here is an advice from my side: Don't go for Central Cargo Packers and Movers.
My initial impression of Central Cargo packers was satisfying as before taking your goods and money, they will talk to you in very convincing manner. They will make all sorts of promises for transferring the goods in well packed containers, etc, etc.... But after that, the story goes like this:
Once your stuff is with them, you have to call these people everyday after 1 week(assuming that your stuff has arrived at the new place). But the response that comes everytime is "It is on the way".
The goods are transferred in around 10 days (forget all the promises!!!). And once your stuff is in front of you, believe me, you wont be able to recognize that it is yours. While unloading they will throw your goods in such a way that will make you feel, "Oh my God!!! What mistake have I done".
They won't deliver the entire stuff together. They will be forgetting some things at their storage place only. So, you will again end up calling them and reminding them that they have to deliver their goods. After a number of calls and number of excuses that 'we'll send the guy today', 'the person is on the way (and then he'll forget the way also)', etc... you will get a call that your stuff is broken and they will refund for the broken amount. Now again wait for atleast 2 days.
I also did the mistake of sending my car through them. In the beginning, they told that car will take some more time as compared to other things as they have to wait till the container gets full. I thought the reason was genuine and didn't asked any other question. But after 15 days, I asked them about the car at the hyderabad office and they said that they had no idea. I kept on calling the hyderabad office or delhi office for next 3-4 days, with all sorts of thoughts coming into my mind.
Finally, I got the call that driver is ready to deliver my car. Then driver called up saying that since the car is empty, they are filling the petrol of 100 Rs which you are suppose to reimburse. That kept me wondering "What happened to 10L petrol which was there in the car before leaving". When the car arrived, it has traveled 170 kms, and was too dirty from inside and outside. It seems that it has been used as a Taxi in a village, with all the windows open. For this they will give you a hell lot of excuses... (This topic won't end if I start writing them here).
I hope that others don't fall into the trap of CENTRAL CARGO PACKERS AND MOVERS...
