The mela authority will organise the 22nd Surajkund Crafts Mela at Surajkund in Faridabad district from February 1 to 15.
Disclosing this here today, Haryana minister of state for tourism and forests Kiran Choudhry said West Bengal would be the theme state for this year's mela. She said the mela would be a meeting ground for artists, painters, weavers, craftsmen from all over India who would exhibit their creations there.
It would showcase unique and intricate handicrafts of West Bengal like leather craft, brass and bell metal works, cane and bamboo works, ceramic works, clay dolls, jute products, masks and puppets, sandalwood carving and needlework and embroidery, Choudhry said and added that the fair would also provide an opportunity to the visitors to taste mouthwatering cuisines.
