Rs 8,500 per square yard will be the new circle rate. The present rate is Rs 5,000 per square yard.
Rs 7,500 per square yard is the collector rate in Sectors 10 and 11 developed by DLF. The earlier rate was Rs 4,000.
While the collector rates have been increased in various HUDA sectors considerably, it is the land along the Delhi-Mathura Road in Ballabgarh that has seen a rise of 100 per cent. The circle rate of an acre of land along the highway in Ballabgarh has been enhanced from Rs 1 crore to Rs 2 crore. The circle rate of one acre of land in other areas has increased from Rs 30 lakh to Rs 40 lakh depending on the location.
Interestingly, Sector 9, that gets marooned during monsoon, witnessed the highest revision in the collector rate. From the present registration rate of Rs 5,000 per square yard, the new circle rates will be Rs 8,500 per square yard, an increase of 70 per cent.
Those HUDA sectors that are yet to be inhabited have also witnessed a hike in the collector rates. The collector rates have been increased by Rs 1,000 per square yard in Sectors 62, 63, 64 and 65. The collector rates in Sectors 10 and 11 developed by DLF have been increased from Rs 4,000 per square yard to Rs 7,500 per sq yard.
While the collector rate for residential land in Sector 14 has been raised upwardly by Rs 1,000 per sq yard, in Sector 17 the hike has been Rs 2,000 per sq yard. There has been no increase in the collector rates in Sectors 15 & 15A.
In Sector 9, the collector rate for commercial property has been increased from Rs 25,000 per sq yard to Rs 30,000 per sq yard. In Sectors 28 and 29, the collector rate for commercial property has been pegged at Rs 40,000 per sq yard.
In the industrial Sectors 60 and 61, the collector rates have been increased from Rs 6,000 per sq yard to Rs 12,000 per sq yard.
