Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Thursday announced major concessions for private schools. These include exemption from seeking Change of Land Use (CLU) and No Objection Certificate (NoC) for recognition of school.
Responding to demands made by the representatives of various associations of private schools at a meeting here, Mr. Hooda announced that those who had applied up to April 10, 2007, the cut-off date to apply for recognition of school, need not seek CLU from the Town and Country Planning Department and NoC from the Municipality.
Mr. Hooda said the Government had about 2,650 pending applications seeking recognition for schools. He also announced that a district level committee headed by Deputy Commissioner and District Education Officer as Member-Secretary would deal with the pending cases of recognition of schools at district level.
