The Government of Haryana has announced a concession scheme for private schools which includes exemption from seeking Change of Land Use (CLU) and No Objection Certificate (NOC) for recognition of the school.
Responding to the demands made by private schools, Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda announced that institutions which applied for recognition before the cut-off date are not required to collect the CLU and NOC.
He further declared that the Government had 2650 pending applications and to address these applications, a district level committee headed by the deputy commissioner will be formed soon.
Considering the issue of recognition, he declared it mandatory for private schools to provide at least 9 square feet area per student up to class VII and 10 square feet per student for higher classes in a classroom.
He also advised that private schools could tie up with nearby government schools, government-aided schools or stadiums for using their playgrounds.
