Gurgaon would soon get better policing system as a proposal by the state government sent to the Centre has been approved by the Home Ministry, Haryana DGP R S Dalal today said.
The DGP said that the Haryana Police was planning to keep vigil on the dreaded criminals when they are released on parole and police personnel would be escorting such criminals till the time they return back to the prisons.
Dalal was talking to media in Sohna after inaugurating newly constructed building of modern Sadar Police Station.
He said that Haryana police was in favour of granting capital punishment in place of life imprisonment to the dreaded criminals and it would file an appeal against the decision of fast track court Gurgaon in which six serial killers were given life term for murdering 28 innocent people.
