What Is The Status Of Construction of Dwarka_Gurgaon Expressway Via New Palam Vihar

Can anyone tell me if construction of highway has started in New Palm Vihar.

• Has Huda got High Court go ahead to start construction of the highway.

• Is Huda going to demolish the houses there which block the highway.

I know next hearing date in Punjab and Haryana court is 22-Oct-2009, But now having any case number. If anyone know the case number can share so that status can be check online.

What is the status of court order for new palam vihar home owner against consutruction of dwarka gurgaon highway, as i was inform that 14 july 2009 was the hearing date for the same. Is anyone aware about the case? Or is anyone having case number registred in punjab and haryana highcourt?

Dear everyone ...Here is the answer for everyones query here....I went to New Palam vihar today....developing a lot....Purchased a plot for Rs...18500 psq... Its on 40ft. road there in Phase 1.....This road is thought as commercial in the phase 1

Make sure you buy the plot which comes in Municipal corporation......All the plots coming under highway or near highway are not in limits of Municipal corporation...

My suggestion is to get the plot or its too late...

I had purchased a plot in New Palam Vihar before the new Gurgaon masterplan was released which announced the construction of new highway.

I am one of the unlucky ones whose plot happens to be affected by the proposed highway.

Can anyone share his thoughts in terms of probability of the highway being realigned outside the New Palam Vihar limits.

It is a clear case of commercial interest vs. public interest.

India is one of the very few fortunate third world countries where courts are free and fair, and I am sure that the Hon'ble court shall take cognizance of the facts if the Haryana government met all requirements transparently, including evaluating the impact of higway on the existing constructed houses, and took a conscious decision on the current alignment of the road based on no alternative location available for the highway.

I trust Haryana government will have hard time proving that as it appears that the decision was random since a lot of alternative vacant land was available at the time of deciding about the highway.

The affected people's hope now rests not only with the hon'ble court, but also with the Haryana government who have been re-elected by people to serve them and not to uproot them.

Let the truth prevail.

Dear Friend.....First aof all sorry to hear about your investment affected by the proposed highway....The High court has still given the stay till 10th of July.......Have you constructed on it or its just a vaccant plot.....
Have your finger crossed and see what happens....the only problem of realligning is that Big builders have purchased land according to the highway location....paid enoromous amount of money to government for licenses and other things......certainly government would be hesistant to touch them........but again as I said keep your finger crossed .....There are good amount of people who are fighting for this cause......Good luck....

Wrong Advice on New Palam Vihar (none / 0) (#9)

The prices are not 18000 Rs psy, but from 5000 (larger plots even near 44 ft road) to 9000 rs psy. Maximum.

Dealers there will tell you all kinds of stories, most of them lies. No wonder "Khosla ka Ghosla" was partially filmed in New Palam Vihar and was based on kinds of transactions done by dealers there.

The titles are not clear and most of the people have to buy on Power of Attorney as the legality of the whole area is questionable.

#4...New palam vihar has different rates starting from 5000 rs/gaj to even 18000 rs. Gaj....The highest is on 44 ft. road which have all the shops in front using for commerical....ITs in Phase 3 of new palam vihar......

#4....EVERYONE IS SMART But there is a difference between smart and shrewd...I hope and wish you are not the second one.....hope not accusing..

All those who booked flats at Emmar's Palm Drive in 2008 at 5000+ rates are now demanding from the builders that they bring down the rates as many other big builders have done looking as the current market moving down by approx. 30%.
Also to offer a Zero % interest rate till the time of possession...like EMAAR has done for the Common Wealth Games.
And offer a easy exit clause for those who cannot afford the property due to economic down turn which has impacted salaries, bonuses and even the jobs.
Several meeting with the management have not yielded any result.
It is very unfortunate that a company of this standing is unwilling to help its customer in the time of crisis.

I have no idea on the current status of the court ban.

The residents must have trust in the High court since it will be amply clear that Huda's decision to construct a highway in the path of the constructed houses was without any prior survey or town planning.
