Gurgaon Schools' Break Extended Till July 5

Keeping in view the prevailing severe heat conditions, the district administration on Friday directed all government and private schools to extend summer vacations till July 5.
The order issued under section 144 of CrPC states that all the schools in Gurgaon will reopen on July 6 as the safety and health of the children could be at risk due to the prevailing heat wave in the region.
The order further said: "If any person is found guilty of violation of these orders, s/he shall be punished under section 188 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) of IPC. A copy of this order has been sent to district education officer for informing all the schools and displaying it on the notice board of the office.
