A development plan of Gurgaon-Manesar Urban Complex, 2025, is being formulated to ensure planned development of Gurgaon.
A spokesman of Haryana government said that initially, the scheme was formulated up to the year 2021 but in view of increasing density of population of Gurgaon, it was decided to formulate it up to the year 2025.
There were 20 members in the Planning Committees of the districts having a population below ten lakh and the Planning Committee of the districts having a population more than ten lakh whould have 25 members in it.
Since the population of Gurgaon had crossed the mark of ten lakh, a proposal to increase the members of its Planning Committee was being forwarded to the state Government.
He said the development plan was being formulated for the new sectors from 58 to 115 to be developed in Gurgaon.
